Biography
I grew up on a small hobby farm in Northern Virginia. I moved to Atlanta, GA for college where I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography. After a few years in the commercial photography industry, I felt the need to fulfill my passion for animals and science by becoming a veterinarian. I did my post-bac studies at Georgia Tech and graduated from vet school at The University of Georgia in 2017 (Go Dawgs!). After several years at a busy practice in Atlanta, my family and I moved to the Asheville, NC area. We are so happy to call this area home and enjoy all the great activities (and views) the mountains have to offer. I live with my fabulous husband, Dan, our two kids, Olivia and Ben, and our golden retriever, Fig. I enjoy hiking, camping, exercise, and reading when I’m not toting kids to soccer or other activities. My clinical interests include abdominal ultrasound, dental health, and preventative care.
